Awesome..just awesome..and to think I was close to the hospital on Saturday and never knew about the peonies. Love them all. My nephews wedding was over there and the bouquets were peonies and cabbage roses. Janice
ReplyDeleteI wish you could have seen it Janice. I don't know how long it lasts, some of the peonies were just in bud, but keep it in mind and next year try to see it. Best to go on a Sat. or Sun. tho because of all the parking. Hope you post pics of the wedding!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous. I don't think we have them in our parts, but my mother always remembered them fondly from her grandmother's farm in Nebraska.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful garden pd peonies!!!! I am going this week after work which is walking distance for me.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures!

Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love peonies.
Woolie hugs
That must have been a wonderful sight to see and smell. Your pictures are great but I'm sure the real thing was better. I do love peonies and didn't realize there were so many varieties.
ReplyDeleteI can smell them from here Peggy - have to replant mine - they won't bloom. Saved them from the church yard. Custodian said they were too messy (!) ~*~Lisa
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are beautiful. I can remember my grandmother having some bushes that lived and thrived for a long time.
