This is a rose that is growing in a vacant lot near me. It has been there a long time, gets no rose food, no pruning, and no attention except from me. I have rooted several cuttings the way Mammy did and persuaded PJ to take one from last fall,( and it has a bloom on it). Its fragrance is as wonderful as its blooms. Happy Saturday.
That sounds like my kind of rose! If it lives on an empty lot, it probably doesn't need gallons and gallons of spray every summer.
