At Town Peddler Antiques and Craft Mall: For Poldark fans, it is $14.99. I like the TV Demelza's wild RED hair though. Where's the Ross book?
Love this one too.
...pictures of children and things I make for those of us who never grow up, and plants I grow in my little garden......

Red, White and Blue
"Kneeling" is not an issue with me. Only God knows what is in a heart that chooses to kneel.
I was brought up with kneeling being a sign of ultimate respect and of profound emotion. That said, maybe we should all kneel, each of us for what we revere most.
I hope your day is filled with flowers!

Putzing with funny witches...
My broom is old and dusty....I seldom fly, oh well...my greenish cast has faded, I never cast a spell.
The slimy toads adore me, they know I'm not a threat. I'd rather nap or crochet, I seldom ever fret.
My days of making potions.. are over, dead and gone, no one seems to trust me, afraid I'll get it wrong.
My caldron is on ebay, my groove is lost, they say. How can she be so happy, this witch , who lost her way.
so former friends forsake me, but that's just fine you see...It's time to read a romance, and have a cup of tea...hee...hee.

I found this easel type frame at the thrift store. These are pins I made this week. PJ has been taking a break from pin-making. Mine are not as nice as hers.
I liked these chicken buttons that I found at Joann' Fabrics.
Who would want to wear a chicken?
Rooster has little heart.
I made some other stuff this month too but I'm just putting it on my other blog (aflowerisneverwrong) so if you are interested you can check it out. There is a turkey and a crow, all the fall stuff is out at Joann Fabrics.
I hope everyone is happy and well.

Stella
My friend Stella died on June 4 and I will surely miss her. She has been the sweetest and most interesting friend to me. She made beautiful art with her crochet needle and every time I saw her, she always asked about my family members and my garden.
She always got it right and never missed a beat. I think her love and interest in others, was what sustained her. I believe she is going to go right on keeping track of all of us!
Thank you for reading my post about Stella.

June 1 Flowers
This is the second year for this iris, the first year to bloom. I bought it at the Ann Arbor farmers market. I wish I could tell you its name. It is so blue it is almost black.
This one is my Beverly Sills from Kynda, and it gets to be on the blog every year. It is almost finished blooming for now.
I made this little flag and a few more for the craft mall. They didn't sell lol. But I like mine in my new hosta spot under the dogwood tree.
This is an aulium and the prettiest one I have. Thank you for walking through my garden this June lst.
