Maggie

She is so nice to make, one of my favorites. Pattern for her is by Chestnut Junction. I don't sand my dolls as most do nowadays, I am just not good at it. I guess I wouldn't want to be sanded myself. Happy Saturday, a wimpy little snow in Michigan today.

We too got nothing much in the way of snow here in northern Ohio. I guess they got more in the southern part of the state. The ground is covered now but that's about it here.

Hi, I just love her! I am not familiar with the process of your doll making......what do you have to sand? I was just thinking they were all cloth? So very interesting! Have a wonderful Christmas! blessings,Kathleen

hi you all, just a note about the sanding. The process is to paint your doll (or even just the tea-dyed fabric) and sand it but not so much as it wears away the fabric. That makes it look old and worn, then some will stain over the sanded areas. It's a nice look if you are good at doing it, it really makes the dolls look antique. It's almost Christmas, I hope everyone is ready and happy! Thanks for commenting y'all.
