My flowers have survived the heat for the most part. I have had this plant before but it was a much darker red. It is growing in a bushel basket partially buried in the ground and tied to the gate as the blooms get very heavy.
I've had a good day and I hope you all did also.

Another beautiful and new to me plant. I did have a great day, thank you! Baby sat my little grandson. The weather cooled down just a bit but there was less humidity making it bearable around here too.
Your plant looks very healthy and very cool!
Have a good night.

Peggy, You sure have some rare plants. I love the colors. Smiles, Susie
Lovely post! I have been trying to add the moon module you have to my page. So far I have not been able to figure it out. Was it hard to do?
Thanks so much for the information on the moonflower. I also told my sister who has a plant near the steps to the porch - it's about 5 feet across and loaded with blooms. She picks off quite a few dying blooms every day. They have a second home in Tennessee and that's where my plant came from. If I can get through the winter and not lose it, I am going to plant in the yard in the Spring.
Hope you have a great weekend!
We will be working at my daughter's house, which they just moved in 2 weeks ago...part of the clean up crew.
