These are from the Apple Barn in Chatham, Illinois. I wish I had a place to grow every one of these.
my little garden is thoroughly confused. Things that should have grown in July are now coming on strong. How's your garden? Any pumpkins? Many pumpkins?

Gardens and people are a little confused it seems. Wow it was so hot and dry and now everything is coming to life again with some rain and cooler weather. My tree in the front is dropping leaves that haven't even turned color yet. It's a beautiful day here and just got in from some shopping. Hope you have a wonderful Friday!
Someday I want to try and grow pumpkins and gourds, especially gourds!
Wow what a great selection of pumpkins!
nice post thanks for sharing...blessings
Hi Peggy,
What a great selection of pumpkins. Our garden has been long gone except bell pepper and eggplant...they are not producing like they did in summer but we are picking 3 bell peppers and an eggplant every week. But in the compost pile it is a different story..we have eggplant, butternut squash and yellow squash that have grown from seeds thrown in the pile. Last year we were able to grow some things almost year round since it was a mild winter here in South GA. This weekend we are going to lay black plastic over most of the garden...about 30'x50'
I have read that if you do this it will kill the weeds and seeds that the weeds have dropped...time will tell. Is that a yellow squash that you have growing...looks like a zucchini,..but I have never seen a yellow one. We have our first of two craft shows the first weekend in November and I am working 8 hour days at staining, painting, sewing. The garden in Spring/Summer took about 2 months away from crafts...but the veggies I canned and put in freezer are worth it.
What are you working on?
Hope you have a really great weeked
Smiles and huggs
Maxie
