I always like Jodi Picoult's books...you can enter to win on goodreads.com.

There are lots of books about the food industry these days.  Some of our suspicions will probably be written about.  I grew up on beans and cornbread.

It's a good day for Rebecca and Rachel.  Their classes were cancelled due to bad weather and they have a reprieve on those tough exams.  I hope you are safe and have a good Friday.

Beans and cornbread are wonderful! I love that combination and beans are very good for you! Early on we were snow free here this morning but already it has turned colder and some flakes are falling. Take care and have a fantastic Friday.

These look like good books. I know what you mean about all the food books. I have been caught up in them.

Peggy, It was beans , corn bread and fried potatos for us. There was a man on Oprah once, he said if your grandparents would not recognize a certain food...do not eat it. Things like Go- gurts. There are many things out there, made from processed stuff. scary. xoxo,Susie

I know sugar - salt - and fat are not good for you - but it does taste good.
