First Sign of Spring..

THE FARM is open!  Petersburg, Illinois tomorrow.  I wish we could go, I would buy the yellow chicken in the green box!

First local craft show is tomorrow too at Lutheran High West, Westland, Michigan.   The weather is letting up a bit for Saturday.

"They" are saying it will be mid-March before the cold goes away.  Guess I won't be planting my peas on St. Patrick's Day.  Watch tomorrow's post for our March gardener calendar girl!  Happy day everyone.

A Pattern by Moonlit Stitch

This is a little rabbit I made from a freebie pattern by Lisa at Moonlit Stitch.  Her pattern shows it in a cute little print dress but I manipulated my dress from a doily.  You could make her today.  Why not?

Kynda just sent me a picture from Piece and Applique.  Maybe she could send her to me.  She promises to get a picture of her face next time.  Maybe some of her work as well.

A snow story.

Jeff, my SIL, is always willing to help others.  So during the deep snow, he plowed his neighbor's driveway while he was away.  Imagine finding out it wasn't appreciated and being asked not to do it again!

What do you say when a good deed goes astray?

Olympics

I am waiting to see Davis and White, our Canton MI skaters.  It is much easier to watch knowing that they won the gold.  It is snowing up a storm and  my son is shoveling , wondering what it will be like in the morning.

I thought I had forgotten how to post, crazy things going on with blogger tonight.  They are letting me post a picture of PJ and Jeff's snow-bell however.    I hope everyone is fine tonight.

February First

 February's Garden City Garden Club calendar girl is married to her soul-mate, has seven children and six grand-babies.  She loves gardening and also CRAFTS.
