Saturday hello....

Summer is slipping by and I have to say I am behind with all my blogging friends.  I hope everyone is well and having good times, forgive me for all I have missed out on.

The picture of the couple is from a new TV show on WGN Chicago  about the scientists in the forties at Los Alamos creating the atomic bomb.  I wouldn't even mention it at all except I think the doors and curtains in this picture look  familiar, it will be interesting to see the settings and the clothes to see what else I remember about the forties. I hope it is a good show for those who will watch.

My garden is good, pictures are coming.  We need a rain.  My friend Neen could use a prayer.  Grandson Jacob has a birthday this week and we will be visiting with Cindy and it has been a very long time since we saw her.  I'll try to catch up soon.

I love your blog design! I need to give mine a lift! It's triple digits here in Texas and MAN! I am counting the days til September! Not that it cools off that much then but at least I know fall is coming!

Seen previews for the show - kinda scary - love the look of the 40's style though. Hope your friend feels the prayers. Have had some rain but can't really tell by the gardens. Have fun with your grandson! ~*~Lisa

Hi Peggy, Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.
I wanted to leave you a comment on the Canada Gardener blog but that Photosphere thing for verification happens so fast I couldn't read the numbers. Ha!

Hope to be a regular reader of your blogs.
