It looks like we might be saying goodbye to this sort of thing.  It is a beautiful Monday here in Michigan. This last month has given new meaning to my grandmother's (Mammy's) expression "penned up".  If you didn't go out, you were "penned up".
At the library everyone was so happy, Charlie and Teresa said today was a gift.  I brought home some bread from Jack's bakery (they forgave me 5 cents on my purchase, so I think it was happy there.) And these to read and listen to while I sew.
These three are April, May and June, little stump dolls.  You can make one, Chestnut Junction pattern.
Also cats, Chestnut Junction.  Walker, the cat did some wrecking this morning because I wouldn't get up.  Maybe he is better equipped to handle Daylight Savings Time than am I.   I haven't written lately, but today is a new day to rejoice in.  Much love, everyone.

I have a picture that looks similar to the snow in your first picture. It looked like an ice skating rink in my back yard for a couple days. We also had a beautiful day here. It was up over 50 and it felt like a heat wave.
Love your little stump dolls. so cute

Oh my goodness! It looks like it has been good weather to stay inside and read and sew!

I'm on the wait list for the ebook of The Girl On The Train through my library. And you already know I loved The Hearts of Horses. My husband is reading it now, and he is enjoying it as well. I can't think of many books that he and I both like. :)

I agree, these warmer sunny days are ones to rejoice about for sure. I've been penned up way to much this winter too. I got out for a little shopping yesterday and it was wonderful not to be freezing cold! We are still snow covered but it has melted down considerably.

Stump dolls and cats are so cute. I'm on the reserve list for "Girls on the Train." I've got a ways to go.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
