Friends are Forever

I hope my blogger friends have not forgotten me during my week-long break. The grandkids and I had fun visiting last week, but now off to school again and back to work for me. Nice to see you this Monday morning.
Just one more of this beautiful flower. It's in my backyard but is so yellow you can see it from the next block over. I have kept it trimmed off on all sides and let it grow really tall. I like it much better that way. We had another frost this morning on all those clematis buds. Mammy would say it was blackberry winter, or dogwood winter, names for those freaky cold spells that keep coming back.

I hope you didn't miss Gail's tutorial on pruning your hydrangea. Click on The Farm on my sidebar and look for the video, made by Kynda.

I'll have to check out the tutorial as I never really knew what to do with mine. Thanks for the tip. Glad you had a nice break. I'm one a permanent one here at my house. But the kids are all back to school so no visitors here at my house.
