The Primitive Plot Waterpark...

This has now gone bye-bye due to torrential rains...

These are turnip greens that overwintered and I left since there was nothing in bloom for the bees at that time. My mother, Emma, always cooked turnip greens in the spring from the plants that had been out all winter long.... and they were good. I guess I do this to remember her, and one of the things she did .

This is what PJ made this weekend...plant markers.

This is Joy helping her. She does not intend to be left out of any endeavor, vacuuming, grass mowing, planting, she is just a step behind her.

Some sewing, the candy cane Annie pattern by Olde Country Cupboard. She advises us to Love.

Everything is on hold in the gardening because of the rain. It was a lake out there this week. Many basements are flooded but thankfully not mine this time, due to some crafty plumbing job. Hooray! It was better to have the garden flooded than the basement.

Happy Friday everyone.

thank you thank you for posting again :) love the garden pictures, pj's plant markers so cute, and your raggedy is cute as a button. Grandma would laugh about your turnip green story, wouldn't she? Maybe her mom did that too. love love

The rain and hail weren't too kind to my flowers either! It has rained 24 out of the 28 days of May so far.
