Lavender...

Loading pictures is not to be this morning, so here are just a few. PJ and Jeff had discovered Lafayette Greens next to a great coney island downtown. I guess these would be solar potting sheds. They weren't open, but the garden was and we could explore their raised beds of plants.

I have never had lavender that didn't go everywhere and get woody but I really liked this one. They may have trimmed it earlier.

We saw the Rembrandt Face of Jesus exhibit at the Institute of Arts. No pictures of course but I was so happy to get to go, so thank you PJ and Jeff. It was realllly crowded and that's a good thing. Maybe tomorrow, blogger will let me load pictures.

I love lavender but cannot seem to grow it! I think I overwatered.

I would so love to see that Rembrandt exhibit!

I love lavender but it hasn't been easy to grow around here. Except that we have one bush of it that looks very similar to the ones shown in your picture. Out of all the ones we planted, it is the only one that has stuck it out and has been around several years now. It would be nice to see inside those solar potting sheds. Interesting for sure. Dreary dark day here but they say the old groundhog saw his shadow anyway.

Peggy,
I love those lavenders, they have a clumped look to them. I have one and it looks more like a big weed, but smells wonderful. Maybe they are different variety. We better enjoy our next 2-3 days..I saw the weather map , something is headed our way. Smiles, Susie (She Junks)
