Redd Ventures

At the Guardian Lutheran craft show, one of the booths had these little plant "gems".

Tiny little packets make a whole quart of marble-sized gems which never fade, are odorless, non toxic, biodegradable and never get moldy.

Soak them for 6 hours in two quarts of water and for plants, add 1 tsp. of liquid plant fertilizer. After soaking, you drain in a colander and place them in a vase, add your plant. (Bare root) For fresh flowers no fertilizer, just leave a small amount of water in the bottom of the vase so stems are immersed.

After two months, the gems will have shrunk in size. Then you just remove them, rehydrate and fertilize.
It was nice to meet Linda Faye. She very thoroughly explained her product for her customers. We thought it was unique so we took home several packets. I hope she did well at the show. Her email is mrslfredd@gmail.com.
