Garden Tuesday

The Joe Pye and Coneflowers teamed up . Can we be together forever?

The volunteer Black Knight likes my little new path of Gail's rocks. My aching back, not so much.

I am fascinated with the broom corn. It was wet this morning. We had a nice rain.

Botanical Interests seeds. My favorite sunflower ever!

Cock's Comb, my grandmother called these. We never had them but after I moved here, saw them being sold by the Amish in Shipshewana and then a few years ago a patch at Gail's, The Farm. Had to grow some. These are in pots.

Next to family pictures, I like garden pictures. Love from Michigan.

I am amazed at the broom corn...looks just like the corn plant the farmers grow in my area. Do you save the seed? I looked on Ebay and found some..thought I may try it next Spring. Love Coneflowers..planted seeds..they were growing so well..they had 4 to 5" leaves..then one day I looked and..the rabbits like them too..only have 4 plants left..or at least I did several days ago. I bought mums last fall for an area...and my thought was these will return every hear and bloom in the spring and fall..well the rabbits like these better than coneflowers. All your plants look so healthy.

Smiles and huggs,
Maxie

All our flowers are getting a good watering here. It's raining. I'm babysitting today. A two year old grand son and then later my 2 month old grandson. I busy day but a good one for sure. Hope your Tuesday is a terrific one!
