Winter flower...

The ice and snow are melting and we are heading for some warmer weather here in Michigan.
The only flower I could find today was the kale, which has been covered over with snow and seems to be no worse for the wear.

an indoor flower made from a yo-yo and old quilt block.  Wishing you good things this Wednesday.

Your kale is a bright spot in the day for sure. Here we are still pretty much covered with snow but even if it wasn't there there'd be no color...the sunny side of the street seems to be melting a lot today but so far not here.

In our neck of the woods here in Michigan we are suppose to have freezing fog in the morning...then temps are going to the 50's and 58 on Saturday. Love the quilt penny flower. Janice

What a pretty photo of the kale and snow! John grew up near Detroit MI and does not miss the snow at all!!!

I love the hand sewn flower too.

Love the color of the Kale. Mine is still alive and kicking too.

Of course you can use my little photo of the check box. I have no idea where I got it from!
