I'm thinking I will go to the library before another round of snow, just because they have been closed and I miss going there. This was a post on Pinterest (in Massachusetts) .
I read a lot of books around Christmas, this was a really good one. A widow living in Paris fights back against losing her house to the modernization of the boulevards. I especially loved the ending.
This one is a memoir but reads like a novel. It is interesting and I stayed up half the night to finish it. Justice was not served in his brother's case but lots of pay-backs and some famous names.
I'm going to brave the cold and get some groceries and maybe even a book, even though I have lots to read on my new Kindle. Problem is, there are so many that look good, I don't know where to start. I am reading A Place at the Table now. Everyone stay warm.

Thanks so much for the tips on books to read. I've had some trouble lately finding a good one. I read all the time and my choices lately have not been good ones. I'll check out your recommendations.
Hope you have a super Saturday.
Amen. Find your escape wherever you can.
I have been reading a lot lately! Just starting Slamm Island by Andrea Levy. It's a WHITBREAD Book of the Year - which I have never heard of before. Too cold to do much today here in Texas. 19 degrees tonight.....
I love the library sign. LOL I think the first book sounds so wonderful! Enjoy reading and stay warm!
