I made him from a Crows Roost design. He is my last hurrah for this year. Looks like he is soooo relieved that I am not making any more.
I think he has been on a KETO diet don't you?
I hope you all are prepared and looking forward to a beautiful Christmas. I'm looking online for a church that sings Christmas carols. Wish me luck there!
Be blessed and happy! Love from Michigan!

Re-invented Black Cat
Just pinned him together so he can go back to being a Halloween cat. I bought him at the Town Peddler Tent Sale last August.
Question...does he need just a scrap of beard or not.

Hello
Just saying hello to my blogger friends and to let you know I am keeping up with all of you, although not writing for a little while.
This is my wreath that I made. I am not a "wreath maker" but had a lonely turkey who wanted to go to the craft show.
We all know the most important thing that Jesus told us was to love one another and he wasn't kidding! Happy Monday y'all.

Found It!
There are always big needles in my haystacks, so I am posting this.
Sunday, John (age 10, great-grandson) made a statement...Life is not easy. I said back to him,
John, you hit the nail on the head. A little while later he said, GG what does that mean about the nail?
Sometimes I forget someone old as me speaks another language. Happy Monday.

My flowers in September
Quick Fire hydrangea, beautiful all year.
Black eyed susan vine. I nursed it all year, finally it is blooming.
Tall ageratum from Graye's Greenhouse. I love it.
Most insane cockscomb
The one to watch, it is now about fifteen inches across. It stands up even after wind and downpours.
Solidago fireworks
bumper crop of Sweet Annie...
Bulls Blood Beets and you can see turnip greens behind.
and a surprise flower this morning. A white Iris. These are some of my favorites. We had lots of flooding last night . Our streets do that in heavy rain . One guy went canoeing! Hope your day is blessed with flowers.

Apple time
We went to Apple Charlie's on Sunday..
They have pony and hay rides , apple picking $20 a bag, farm animals and a flea market. You can walk through and watch them make the cider. It was a beautiful day and there was a big crowd.
Do you know .. how much is a peck? We didn't, but I wanted some Mutsus (the big green ones). a peck bag was $5.00.
We also got Empire, McIntosh, Gala, Delicious for $1 a bag of about 8 or 9. No bad ones.
Donuts were $10 a dozen and cider $10 a gallon. At first glance I would think the prices were a
little steep, but when you see how many workers it takes to put on the show, I guess they have to be.
I only had one donut. Happy Monday everyone.

Sold (to me) Town Peddler Craft & Antique Mall, Livonia, MI
These are what I bought at the tent sale. I don't know what the crate will be used for but I liked it. They said it was a drawer but I thought not.
The black cat had a broom that she must have used to go through a hurricane, so she was priced "as is". I will show you her after I finish a "do-over".
I am staying away from that tent today for fear I will find more stuff I just have to have. It rained all day yesterday but people still shopped and browsed. One of the dealers set up an umbrella shuttle between the store and the tent. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Still three more days ..maybe I will see you there!

Flowers for Jeannie's Birthday.
Daughter P.J. took a bucket of my flowers to work for a party. I can't take credit for this arrangement but I did GROW them. The butterfly really sets them off! Here at home, I have real butterflies galore on the zinnias and the butterfly bushes!
Today is the Tent Sale at Town Peddler Craft and Antique Mall, Wednesday till Sunday! I will probably come home with more than I sell. Happy Wednesday.

August First Yard
Lilliput zinnias
Mustard Yarrow
Zinnias my favorites
Renee's Garden Seeds
Polar Bears
My pond. Sad news, George, our fish disappeared one stormy night. We think he may have been taken by a raccoon.
My flower box of zinnias and my green roof on the playhouse.
Just plain ol' allysum
Dwarf butterfly bush

Our trip to Proven Winners 4 star greenhouse gardens
John's first visit to Four Star Gardens. At first he didn't want to go with the "girls" but he had fun and we liked having him along. The gardens are beautiful every year. And there are some new plants we can look for next year.
Located in Carlton Michigan on Indian Trail Road, open most all the day light except if they have a wedding or event.

PJ wanted to do some trolls with plant-hair but trolls are collectible and so far we haven't found any. She made this instead. Let's take a vote...cute?....creepy?.....silly?
