The better to see you with...my dear......

She saw me before I saw her. Is it true they have five eyes and a head that swivels 180 degrees?

Last year there were lots of grasshoppers in my garden but I haven't seen any this year. Probably due to her clan. I stopped my work and watched back for a while. I love to watch them move. I may have only two eyes but they are really good, thanks to cataract surgery and new glasses. So I guess we are even, I have four eyes and a camera.


We're going to the quilt show today so I will have lots of pictures next week. Happy Friday.

Making new dolls and a paper hat.....

It's a beautiful day, this last day of June. My garden doesn't need me quite as much so I am making some new dolls to take to Town Peddler. I can never remember how to make a paper hat so I usually have to google it every time, thank you dear internet. It's a double rectangle, fold down two top corners to meet in the middle and fold up a brim, back and front, and it's done. Make one for yourself from newspaper and have a good Wednesday.

A Perennial Pair

I have spent the afternoon today with these two and CNN. Andy kept wanting to watch NCIS on USA channel and Annie would have liked Paula Deen, but we kept being reminded that this is a historic day, so we stayed with the news.

I will have to redo the tag as I misspelled perennial. Don't worry about me, the dolls have been talking to me a long time.
