A sweet visit to Springfield.....

This is not the best picture that was taken, and there were many, but it says what I wanted to say. Betsy and Kyle love their Granny K. but PawPaw is a man who is always on the go, and Betsy and Kyle are only two steps behind him most of the time.

On the way down, we happened on this classy touch in the ladies room at a rest stop.
Someone nice left the flowers for everyone and the first person to leave a note just kept the nice feeling of appreciation going. Yeah, I left one too.

We loved seeing everyone, meeting Kyle for the first time, going to The Farm and eating the best peach pie ever. And you can have the recipe...go to The Farm blog here. I don't think I will be making regular pie crust again.

It's always good to be home and safely. I had a good driver, except she sings oldies extremely loud and somewhat off-key. We tried the book-on-tape but found it made her sleepy. They do that to me also.

Thanks for visiting me this morning.

My granddaughter Kaylee calls me and says she misses me, but where's papaw? LOL. Some papaw's are just extra special. Sounds like you have one at your house too. :)

That picture is absolutely adorable. I'm so glad you had a wonderful trip. I did see that recipe on line and wondered at the time if you all were having it. Hope all is well there and that you are having a great Thursday!

So glad that nobody noticed the not-so-nice comment about my singing! You are so terribly wrong! They were NOT oldies!
