Red Eye Gravy

You have to start with a slice of country ham ..
You have to have some biscuits to pour it over...
You have to ignore the keep-out sign on the frig...

This is a Kentucky New Year's day breakfast...black-eyed peas should be for dinner.

Rebecca and Tom and Charlie and Keegan are at the Winter Classic Redwing
Toronto game...OUTDOORS at the Big House in Ann Arbor.  The snow is blowing and the temp is  in the teens. I don't see a single empty seat.

It looks like a wonderful breakfast and a great way to start off the New Year. I've heard of red eye gravy but never had it or made it...I'll have to give it a try! Happy New Year...Snow and cold here too!
