Lemon summer squash

I ordered seed for this from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, they listed it as their most popular squash.  I like it and the plant is easy to manage and is holding up well.  Kath from Four Miles North of Nowhere asked if I was going to be on the calendar next year, so I will answer here.  Sadly, I am not a resident or member of Garden City, so that lets me out.  Want to do a blogger calendar?

How cool.
I've never heard of that squash before.
It has been a bumper year for me and my squash.
Cukes too.
I've been daily fighting the cucumber beetle and squash bug.
It has been worth it though.
Woolie Blessings

Those pickin's look so good Peggy. I only planted sugar snap peas this year. I would do a blogger calendar! Just not nekked! LOL!

I'd never seen a lemon squash before, but do love most any kind of squash. I have some to fix for dinner today along with some green peppers to stuff. They are fresh from someone's garden but not mine. I got them at a farmers stand along the road. Hope you have a super Saturday!

Ah well...their loss. :)

The squash and beans look beautiful! Are the flavor and/or texture different than crookneck?

I have never heard of this kind of squash before. The only thing I have planted edible wise are black eyed peas which we love. I only planted a small amount and it has produced well. Hoping you keep having a good harvest.
