Pot-Speak

The Pot on the left says "I've cooked the biggest turkeys".  The pot on the right says "But I've cooked twice as many as you".  The little one on the floor says "I've cooked cabbage rolls for twenty."

We all know sometimes objects "speak" to us.  This was a moment yesterday when my friend Jackie put these lovely roaster pans in her booth at Town Peddler.  It is sad to let things like this go but we all know we can't keep everything.

We hope that Stella and Jo's roasters go to someone who has a big old farmhouse where they can be admired, or even used.

Signing off now, going to realestate.com to see if any farmhouses are for sale. Happy Friday!

Oh my goodness - some stories they could tell. I have a big one that my mother in law gave it - not painted like that tho. Awesome.

I thought I was the only one who overheard the conversations of inanimate objects LOL!! And I am still trying to learn that lesson about not being able to keep everything. ;-) Robin

I would dearly love to be an owner of a big old farmhouse full to the brim of pots and things like I see her on your blog!! It's hard to part with loved objects...glad we can't hear them speak as we give them away. That would break our hearts.

Oh the stories those pots could tell of family gatherings and conversations in the kitchen and around the table.

I have a green one like that, and know I need to find it another home, but I just can't seem to yet.

So true pots like that have a lot of stories to tell. I have some like that and love to bring them out an use them over and over again. Time was I didn't have a small pan in my house, but now it's all I require.Happy Saturday you ! Have a great day !
