Button Birdhouse Rescue...

Well, it was $1.91 at the Thrift Store. Someone did a lot of work on it and I couldn't leave it sitting there so lonely.

Only problem was I had to stand in line to buy it and people kept looking at it and commenting. I offered it to one little girl who really liked it but her Mom said no. She was so cute I would have bought it for her, knowing that she would love it.

Do you look in other people's carts at the Thrift Store?

We found a new Thrift Store.....

It's at 1093 Fort Street, Lincoln Park (near Outer Drive).

Pink is nice.

Shoes anyone?

All good stuff...

AND....their mission...to raise awareness about suicide and to support families, friends, and survivors who are not exempt by this tragedy. Through public donations, Forget-Me-Not Thrift Store will raise the funds needed to help support those who are impacted by this disaster.

Barb and I met the owner and she was so nice, I hope she doesn't get tired of seeing me. We bought some treasures too. I have more pictures for you later.

Also, we walked the ENTIRE Allen Park Street Fair. Pretty good for two old broads.
I hope you had a great Saturday too.

My Sweater

I'm not as good as some of you are at re-sale-ing but here's a sweater I picked up thinking it would make a nice bear. However it fits so I will wear it instead, as it is warm. I don't want anyone to think I paid the big bucks at the Disney store so maybe I should wear a badge that says something to that effect. Now I have to find one like it for PJ.

Speaking of Disney, CNN says that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was released on this date in 1938. Gosh, Snow White is almost as old as I am...she looks good for her age.... can't say that for myself.

I do try to exercise my mind with crosswords and sudokus and once in a while try to name the Seven Dwarfs. Usually I can get six but today I found a way to help me. Two S's (Sleepy, Sneezy) 2 D's (Doc and Dopey) 3 emotions (Grumpy, Happy, Bashful). Now if I can remember the letters S and D. Happy Thursday.
