August update

August is half over and I forgot to post the gardener of the month.  I remember visiting this lady's garden and it was amazing.
Goldy Honey Bear, I used my seeds from last year.
Love lies bleeding, comes up on its own (everywhere) but is easy to pull out excess.

This is my favorite month of flowers.  I've been waiting for them to get dressed up for the blog.
We had over six inches of rain, you may have heard, earlier in the week.  Many people lost so much due to basement flooding, freeways were flooded and closed, it was a mess.  But the worst was, three people lost their lives.

Stay safe where you are.  If the road is flooded, don't go in the water.

I'm still wondering where July went to and here we are halfway though August.

So sad to hear about the flooding in your area. We have a lot of flash flooding here...local slogan is "Turn around, don't drown." So many people try to drive through low-water crossings. My mother's best friend was killed in a flash flood when I was little, so I have always preached the danger to family and friends.

Your garden is lovely. Will you be in the calendar next year? :)

We really needed the rain but when it floods we don't realize how dangerous it is! So sad. Your honey bear is amazing Peggy! ~*~Lisa
