Craft Show at Bob Evans

Barb brought her latest creations to our breakfast at Bob Evans. These are little picture frames, with her iris folded hearts in the photo slot. I think they are just the cutest, and all of us want to buy one. She is working hard and hoping for a good spring show, altho all she would have to do is set up at Bob Evans and invite friends to breakfast.

More January Birthdays

Stella is only 97 today. We've talked about her before. She's Jackie's Mom and the lady who crochets all those beautiful afghans. I know she's having a fun birthday, going somewhere special. Happy birthday to Stella.

Here she is giving some tips to her customers.

AND....yesterday was Barb's birthday but our Betsy got first billing, but I know she understands. She's like that, our crafty lady, social event organizer, driver, resale guru and all around friend. She deserves a big shout-out, ( I always wanted to say that like they do on QVC) and I hope she has a wonderful year.

Happy Birthday to Betsy, from Great-Grandmother, Peggy

Happy Birthday Betsy, this is my favorite picture that your Grandmother Kynda sent to me this year! You are so busy here, checking out the flowers and picking your favorite ones, just like she does.

I am so happy to see the pictures your Mom sends. I am so far away that I don't get to visit you, but that way I can see how you are growing and learning things and having fun with your sweet family.

I think you are just beautiful!! Have a wonderful birthday sweetie. I love you.

Bears are back

My little quilt bear is a mixture of magazine patterns until I got him to look like I wanted.

The mama bear is a very old Country Stitches pattern. I added the rusty wire glasses and I also ordered some extra rusty wire to have in my booth at Town Peddler. It is impossible to find it in a store around here and I thought someone else might like to use it occasionally.

Yesterday we had 20 children in Children's Church!!!

Charlie won his hockey game.

PJ and Jeff have a new golden, her name is Joy.

Happy Monday everyone.

Two Annies

These two wanted to be on the blog but were passed over. They said what is more important than home and family. So here you are girls. Look pretty.

Happy Saturday, I got to see the Lansing Capitals play, not winning, but tomorrow they will. Charlie is my favorite hockey player of course. He skates fast and shoots hard.

P. S. Oops, forgot to tell you, these are made from a Sweet Meadows Farm pattern.

Special request post

A nameless friend says I have been lazy lately. I guess I have those winter blahs so many of you have. Anyway, here is Riley, and he wishes you a happy weekend.

I'm going to have a good one, I get to see Charlie (grandson) play hockey in Trenton. Yea!
