Last year there were lots of grasshoppers in my garden but I haven't seen any this year. Probably due to her clan. I stopped my work and watched back for a while. I love to watch them move. I may have only two eyes but they are really good, thanks to cataract surgery and new glasses. So I guess we are even, I have four eyes and a camera.

I saw one of those a few weeks ago. I just love them! Have fun at your show!
I don't see many praying mantis here anymore. As a young child, my sister and I collected and placed in our room these little pods, not knowing what they were. One day we discovered 100's of tiny mantis, they had hatched!!!
I usually see praying mantis around here each summer. I love watching them. Grasshoppers... not so much! lol They are all over around here.
